Why, Why, and Why?

This we would like to answer you briefly at this point. To this end, there are several reasons that are also elongate in the concept of the youth centre:

1. Provide a further offer for youth culture (JuZ) in Sögel!

This is also a key point in the JuZ concept and is also already being implemented through the work in the packing hall. However, the request came from the visitors and volunteers on after a major event for Sögel. Because there is in this field for Sögel little deals, we hereby fill a gap in the Sögeler youth culture work.

2. Promote Transboundary contacts!

It applies to both Dutch artists, but also guests from the Netherlands for Sögel or the open air to inspire. The neighborly exchange is one aspect of this point. A solid cooperation with Kunst & Cultuur Drenthe is already closed, and two Dutch bands obtained via K & C Drenthe each a place at the festival.

3. Regional bands provide another platform!

More and more opportunities for concerts falling off in recent years. A variety of smaller clubs is already history and the inquiries in the packing hall are piling up. The Open Air we want local bands provide a professional platform for their music and support young bands.

4. Public Relations

This point applies to both the reputation of the artist as well as our youth center Alte Post. We have to point at the Open Air has the chance to us and to inform in general.

5. Encourage youth culture

This concerns both the appreciation of youthful expressions, as well as their personal development. By participation of volunteers / teamers self-organization should be strengthened. Last but not least we would like to promote a "colorful" cultural diversity!
